How To Get There- Hanalei Bay Beach

Driving to Hanalei Bay Beach involves passing through lovely towns and along a scenic route. If you’re coming from the south, Princeville will be the first place you pass as you see the renowned golf courses perched above the Pacific Ocean. Additionally, just before you enter the town of Hanalei, Highway 56 (Kuhio Highway) offers a view of Hanalei Bay and its beach. 

To get to the beach, there are three parking lots. The initial parking area is located on the left side of Highway 56 immediately after Nualolo Road. On the right side of Highway 56, the second parking lot sprawls close to the Hanalei Pier. There are public restrooms, outdoor showers, and picnic tables at Black Pot Beach Park, where there is a third parking spot. 

If you don’t mind a short walk to the beach, there is also free street parking available all over Hanalei town.
